Summerland by Michael ChabonMy review
As I don't know anything about baseball, found the terminology a bit muddled. Tended to skip these parts in the story.
Apart from that, it is a good read, and a story of folklore, with the band of "goodies" consisting of all kinds of magical animals.
Ethan Feld is the young hero, along with Jennifer T (both of them baseball players), and their mission is to try and stop the end of the world.
