BOOK READS

Since my post on Saturday, when I listed the books that I had got from the library, I have finished reading PEOPLE OF THE BOOK by Geraldine Brooks.
What a wonderful story - great historical content, and its a book that I want to read again.
Stephenie Meyer's Twilight books have led to people reading other authors who write about this genre, one of these Charlaine Harris is mentioned on quite a few book blogs. So finished AN ICE COLD GRAVE, which I enjoyed.
"Harper Connolly has been given the gift of being able to locate dead bodies - this gift was brought on by Harper being struck by a bolt of lightning.
In this story, she and Tolliver, her stepbrother, are hired to find a missing grandson - what she finds is more than 1 body - 8 are located in the same location.
Harper reluctantly becomes involved in the investigation after being attacked by the serial killer.
A good read and will get more of this author's books.

Still reading through THE THIRTEENTH TALE by Diane Setterfield, and this book has been listed on a lot of reading lists.
A biographer is asked to write a story of Vida Winter, a best selling reclusive novelist.
Vida has been an enigma for many years and no-one knows the truth of her life.
Enter into the story, Margaret, who has been asked by the author to write her biography, and she is determined to find the truth.
