One of the stories in a series - came across this author on a list by the Independent Mystery Booksellers Association (USA) which has lots of best sellers for the last couple of years.
Aunt Dimity is a ghost and communicates with Lori by writing appearing in a special book (Aunt Dimity and Lori's mother were friends for many years).
This advneture takes Lori and her two boys to Scotland where they have been sent for their safety following death threats made to the family.
Great characters and setting.
